 >Beginning Wheel – Ashley McCleery. 6 Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, beginning TBA. Learn the fine art of creating pottery on the wheel! Cost: Members $100 – Non Members $120. Tools provided but an additional cost for clay (includes glaze & firing) 


>Beginning Pottery – Dee Grossman.   Saturday, 9 – 11am beginning September 14, 2019. (6 sessions)  This class is for beginners who are teens & adults who would like to work with clay to create pottery and hand built items. Students will be introduced to the wonders of clay beginning with hand built items and progressing to exposure on the wheel. Tools are provided but the cost of clay is an additional $25 for a 25# bag.  Member cost $100 Non-Member cost $120.



> Clay Workshop – Ashley McCahill.    Tuesday, October 22, 2019 – 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Hand Built Christmas Gnomes. Create your vision…hand build a unique ceramic item.  All materials included. Cost is $45 SORRY, THIS CLASS IS FULL! 




>How to Make Great Photos Happen – Terry Barnhill.  Terry will offer two 2 1/2 hour classes…sign up for one or both.

 The first class, for beginners and intermediate photographers,  will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 9 – 11:30 am.  This session will help you express your creativity rather than “just pressing a button.” lens selection, correct use of aperture, composition, lighting and more will be covered. Cost is $25…DSLR users only please…bring your camera.

The second class will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 9 – 11:30 am. This session will help you improve your landscape and macro images by helping you select the correct lens and accessories, create multiple exposures, use the concept of Miksang, discover light and much more.  Cost is $25. Please bring your camera.


>Advanced Pottery - Monthly Open Studio  Pottery Students who want to use the TCCA facility without class instruction can now do so during TCCA hours and during scheduled classes with permission of the instructor. TCCA Board approved requirements: Must be a member of TCCA. Must have taken at least (3) prior TCCA pottery classes. Must purchase Clay from TCCA and work without instruction. Pottery will be fired for you by instructors along with other student work.  Please note…The purpose of open studio is to provide TCCA Members with a studio space to create pottery for personal pleasure and artistic enrichment or to enhance skills and ability.  Open Studio is not intended to expense business costs of  production for retail sale or to support a personal business venture. Cost – $50 / month (for members only)


>Glaze Making 101Debbie Tucker. 6 Mondays, 6:30pm – 8:30pm TBA. For students who already have a basic understanding of pottery and glazes who want to learn about mixing unique glazes. The classes will focus on glaze chemistry, proper tools, and the mixing of chemicals to produce a functioning glaze. Member cost $65 -Non-Members $75.  Materials will be provided.

> Pit Fire Workshop – Kim Hohlmayer. Ages 10 to Adult.  TBA. Learn a process in glaze firing that is similar to RAKU yet surprisingly different! Lots of coppery highlights.  Make a variety of projects to fire.  Member cost – $55 – Non Member cost – $65

> Painting GroupTwila Christner. Ongoing, Tuesdays 10:00am – 2:00pm. Do you enjoy painting in the company of others? Join the fun and create your works of art. Bring a little something for a pot luck lunch. Member Cost – $8 per session. Non-Member Cost – $10 / session

> Watercolor, Acrylic or Oil PaintingBill Koch. Ongoing, Saturdays 9:00am – 11:00am. Individual instruction with ALL levels of experience. Member Cost – $8 per session. Non-Member Cost – $10 / session.
