 > Improve Your Photography Skills – Terry Barnhill.  4 Mondays beginning February 13, 2017, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.  Learn about lighting, composition etc. from master photographer Terry Barnhill, who has owned (with his wife) Mitchells Studio for 36 years. Cost of the class is $40…Member Cost $35.  Class limit 10…Sorry, this class is full! 

 

 

>Adult Pottery - Bill Shryock. Wednesday or Thursday from 6 – 8:00 PM, (6) sessions beginning March 1, 2017. Individual instruction in hand building, wheel throwing and glazing.  Design and create your own clay masterpieces. Tools are provided, but the cost of clay is an additional $25 for a (25) lb. bag, which includes glazing and firing. Member Cost: $100 – Non-Member Cost: $120 –  

 

>Advanced Pottery - Monthly Open Studio  Pottery Students who want to use the TCCA facility without class instruction can now do so during TCCA hours and during scheduled classes with permission of the instructor. TCCA Board approved requirements: Must be a member of TCCA. Must have taken at least (3) prior TCCA pottery classes. Must purchase Clay from TCCA and work without instruction. Pottery will be fired for you by instructors along with other student work.  Please note…The purpose of open studio is to provide TCCA Members with a studio space to create pottery for personal pleasure and artistic enrichment or to enhance skills and ability.  Open Studio is not intended to expense business costs of  production for retail sale or to support a personal business venture. Cost – $50 / month (for members only)

 

 

>Zentangle - Judy Sandstead. 4 Mondays, 6:00pm – 7:30pm beginning March 6, 2017. Certified Zentangle teacher Judy Sandstead will teach the easy, fun, relaxing method of repetitive patterns. You will explore many tangles and end with a steampunk framed project. All materials included.  Member cost $40 Non-Member $45

>Glaze Making 101Debbie Tucker. 6 Mondays, 6:30pm – 8:30pm TBA. For students who already have a basic understanding of pottery and glazes who want to learn about mixing unique glazes. The classes will focus on glaze chemistry, proper tools, and the mixing of chemicals to produce a functioning glaze. Member cost $65 -Non-Members $75.  Materials will be provided.

 

> Pit Fire Workshop – Kim Hohlmayer. Ages 10 to Adult.  TBA. Learn a process in glaze firing that is similar to RAKU yet surprisingly different! Lots of coppery highlights.  Make a variety of projects to fire.  Member cost – $55 – Non Member cost – $65

> Painting GroupTwila Christner. Ongoing, Tuesdays 10:00am – 2:00pm. Do you enjoy painting in the company of others? Join the fun and create your works of art. Bring a little something for a pot luck lunch. Member Cost – $8 per session. Non-Member Cost – $10 / session

> Watercolor, Acrylic or Oil PaintingBill Koch. Ongoing, Saturdays 9:00am – 11:00am. Individual instruction with ALL levels of experience. Member Cost – $8 per session. Non-Member Cost – $10 / session.

>Drawing –  Christine Rober.   Tuesdays, 5:45pm – 6:45pm, beginning February 14, 2017. Bring your sketch pad, pencils and improve your rendering ability & creativity.  $8 / session.  Non -members $10 / session. Classes will begin again in March 2017.
