Tuesdays from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm February 11, 2020. (6 sessions)

Taught by Dee Grossman.  This class is for beginners who would like to work with clay to create pottery and hand built items. Students will be introduced to the wonders of clay beginning with hand built items and progressing to exposure on the wheel. Tools are provided but the cost of clay is an additional $25 for a 25lb. bag.  Member cost $100 Non-Member cost $120. SORRY, THIS CLASS IS FULL.

The Next 6 week session will begin on April 7. In Addition a "Try It" session is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, from 10am - Noon, Cost $40. This is for anyone who would just like to try the media and see if it is for you,

Pottery and Craft


4 Mondays, 6:30pm – 8:00pm beginning February 11, 2019.

Taught by Terry Barnhill. This class will teach you how to set your camera for all different types of photos and how to select the proper lens or adapt one lens to a variety of shooting situations. Also covered: How to use the different modes of your camera; demystify Exposure & depth of field; how & when to use flash, composition; color and much, much more! Total Cost is $25…bring your camera, lens and flash.

TCCA Board approved requirements: Must be a member of TCCA.

Monthly Open Studio  Pottery Students who want to use the TCCA facility without class instruction can now do so during TCCA hours and during scheduled classes with permission of the instructor. Must have taken at least (3) prior TCCA pottery classes. Must purchase Clay from TCCA and work without instruction. Pottery will be fired for you by instructors along with other student work.  Please note…The purpose of open studio is to provide TCCA Members with a studio space to create pottery for personal pleasure and artistic enrichment or to enhance skills and ability.  Open Studio is not intended to expense business costs of  production for retail sale or to support a personal business venture. Cost – $50 / month (for members only)

Clay Design


Six Mondays, 6:30pm – 8:30pm TBA.

Taught Debbie Tucker. For students who already have a basic understanding of pottery and glazes who want to learn about mixing unique glazes. The classes will focus on glaze chemistry, proper tools, and the mixing of chemicals to produce a functioning glaze. Member cost $65 -Non-Members $75.  Materials will be provided.


Ongoing, Saturdays
9:00am – 11:00am.

Taught by Bill Koch. Individual instruction with ALL levels of experience. Member Cost – $8 per session. Non-Member Cost – $10 / session.


Ages 10 to Adult.  TBA.

Taught by Kim Hohlmayer. Learn a process in glaze firing that is similar to RAKU yet surprisingly different! Lots of coppery highlights.  Make a variety of projects to fire.  Member cost – $55 – Non Member cost – $65
